Welcome to the new Public Wear website. Yes it is all new and shiny and even has that new car smell. yummy! For all of you who have been to the site recently might have noticed quite a drastic change. For those who have not noticed, shame on you. It clearly means you need to come back here more often. We have been addressing your feedback and suggestions on how to make the site easier, faster and more fun.

Therefore in this short post we thought it would describe to you what we have done and what has changed from the old site to the new site. We have only included some of the highlights, as there is quite a lot that has changed. Additionally we have decided to explain the new website it several categories.

Menu

One of the first items that you notice and want to use is the Menu. This has been changed but only in terms of appearance. All the same headings are present which are:

• Home
• Shop - This is now known as: Female & Male
• Design Portal
• My Profile (visible once you have logged in)
• Wallpapers
• Blog

Just like the old Menu you can hover over each Menu item to see sub-items. The most drastic change we have done with the Menu overall is that we have group all 'User activities', such as Messaging, Profile page, Community search, etc, under one Menu Item called My Profile. This was due to some feedback that all these items were hard to identify and find. So our solution now is just to group all these user activities under 'My Profile'.

You may ask yourself, well where do I login now? Well if you look below the Menu, you will see another Toolbar Menu which includes:

• Cart
• Login
• Text Size

Cart and Login are dropdown menus which means that you need to click them to see them, as you can see in the picture above. This is aimed at spacing space on the screen, and of course they look cool! Regarding the login, this is done the same way as it was before. Simply click on login, enter your username and password, followed by pressing enter or clicking 'Login'

Text Size simply increases or decreases the font size of the text on the entire page you are on. There are three sizes to toggle between, Small, Medium and Large.

The Cart will be explained in the next heading.

Shop

Shop Cart

The Shop Cart operates in the similar manner as the Login button, meaning it is a popup window that will appear if you click on it. It will also appear when you add a product to your cart. This will popup to notify you of what you have added and your total price that you owe. To Check Out, you will need to click on the 'Show Cart' button in the bottom of the popup window. This will navigate you to the Check Out process process.

Also keep in mind that your Shop Cart details are also stored on the left hand panel of the screen, under the heading of 'Shop Cart'..

Search

Finding stuff is so much easier and cooler with our new AJAX powered search. This means that you can find items that you are looking for as you type them in to the search bar. This obviously saves you time and provides you with instant information. Excatly what you would want from a Search function.

Footer

The footer has not actually changed too much, however it is worth pointing out there are some useful links. These include:

• Become a Fan of our Facebook page (which you could win free Tees)
• Top 10 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
• Latest Twitter Updates
• Garments and Sizing, this will provide you with all the information you may need about out T-Shirts, which includes all our colours and sizing charts for guys and gals
• Privacy Policy, for all those concerned folks. You can read our policy on how we treat your data on the website and how we ensure that you are and information are safe.
• Returns Policy, for in case you are not happy with your purchase of our super cool shirts. No one ever reads this, luckily.
• And many others that you might be interested in looking at. Take a look!
