The program can only hide text within a Bitmap image (.bmp). Future plans are tp extend this to wav files and compressed image files such as JPEGs and GIFs. Black Box is an example of Steganography. Basically hiding a message in plain sight. I wrote a Blog post about it if you interested in reading. The post is called Stego?. BlackBox makes use of a single Bitmap to hide any written message. This secret message can be concealed within the image without any obvious changes to the Bitmap image, ie File Size and Image look identical to the orginal. So the viewer of the Bitmap image will not thing twice when reviewing the image. However just in case all Stego-Images may be locked using a password.
